Welcome to the 2019-2020 School Year!

WE MOVE FORWARD IN FAITH!

In 2 Corinthians 5:7, God's Word tells us to walk by faith and not by sight. In our classroom, we grow as disciples of Jesus, building faith and relationships with Him through studying God’s word as well as praying for and serving each other. 

This is my 15th year of full-time teaching at Grace, with experiences in preschool, 1st, and 2nd grade classrooms. Second grade is where I feel most at home and I work to create a loving and nurturing learning environment where I hope my students feel at home too. This is such an exciting time of growth and learning! Children become independent and responsible learners, confident readers, focused writers, creative thinkers and capable problem solvers. I believe learning is most meaningful when authentic connections are made as the students use hands-on experiences and thoughtful activities to explore school subjects, new ideas, and the world around them. My classroom is a safe place to experiment, make mistakes, and grow in knowledge where each student is valued as a precious child of God with unique gifts and abilities. 

I am truly blessed to serve God's children and families in this place of Grace!
