We will begin writing complete sentences using capitalization and punctuation as we journal write. Things included in this assessment will be 2-D shapes, AB, AAB, and ABB patterns, adding on to patterns, and writing the numbers 1-10. In social studies, we will begin learning about pilgrim children. We will spend time comparing and contrasting pilgrim children with children of today and we will learn why the pilgrims came to America. We will use a globe to learn where the pilgrims came from as well. in Bible, we will learn about the Battle of Jericho and our character development theme this week is trust.
