Hello Kindergarten Families! Hope your week is going well! Here are this week's updates:

*Candy Cane Lane Shoppe is open this week. The children will make wish lists today to bring home. You may send money for them to shop for gifts for loved ones.

*Field Trip forms are due. Please send those in, along with the $5 fee if you are chaperoning. We need drivers! If we don't have enough drivers, we cannot go! Teachers are not allowed to transport children so we must rely on parents for this.

*Our class party will be Friday, December 21st from 9:00 until dismissal. We will have lunch, do crafts, have story time, and play games. The children will also be performing a special song for you, so please come join us! There will be a sign-up genius for our party. Most likely, we will do pizza with special treats, chips, and drinks. We will also need party supplies.

This week, we will work on sentence structure using nouns and verbs. We will work on long vowel words and consonant blends in our reading. We will also work with sequencing as we retell the story of the Gingerbread Man. We will learn about France and Germany this week and how they celebrate with their Christmas traditions. We will even listen to some Christmas carols sung in French and German! In Bible, we are learning about the events leading up to the birth of Christ and focusing on the true meaning of Christmas in our creative writing and artwork. In Math, we are working with teen numbers and geometry (Shape attributes). Our sight words are you, she, with. Show-n-tell is something red.

Have a blessed week everyone!
