Welcome to Pre-K 4!

My classroom is a place for children to learn, grow and excel, while developing a personal relationship with Christ. Through daily Bible stories and activities, students will learn of Jesus' love and forgiveness, and that God has equipped them each with unique talents and interests. My students will develop basic academic skills using hands-on activities and games, and participate in open ended, creative, imaginative and challenging play with peers. 

I graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2006. I am especially interested in encouraging positive social and emotional skills during the pre-k year, as this is often the first experience in a classroom setting. My students learn and practice social skills and problem-solving techniques, such as taking turns, showing kindness, and sharing through fun games and stories. 

This is my third year in ministry at Grace Lutheran School, but I have been part of the Grace family for many years. My husband and I have four sons. Our oldest is a Grace graduate and UNF student, and our three younger children have attended Grace since preschool. We have been blessed by the connections we have made with teachers and staff, as well as with other parents since we joined the GLS family.
