-Friday, February 28, 2020 Music Festival trip to St. Luke’s, Oviedo, FL **We will need parent drivers

-Sunday, March 1, 2020 @ 8 a.m. Sunday Church Service—celebration of NLSW

-Friday, March 6, 2020 Grandparents Day Chapel 10 a.m.

-Tuesday, May 12, 2020 Spring Concert @ 7 p.m.

Handbell Rules and Expectations

In order for us to have a quality ensemble, it will be necessary for certain rules and expectations to be established.  Our goal is to grow not only as musicians, but also as Christian young people.  Ensemble rules are as follows:

  1. Enter and leave with a good attitude.
  2. Respect for the directors and each member of the group is expected at all times.
  3. Handle and play bells carefully.  Replacement cost for our set is in excess of $10,000!
  4. Active participation in all rehearsals and performances is a MUST.  This includes set-up and break-down.

**For handbells, I cannot stress attendance enough.  Each child is assigned 2-4 unique notes.  There is no duplication from other students.  If a child is absent, then the music is extremely compromised by missing bells.

***If you cannot be present for a performance, the director must be notified in writing no later than two weeks in advance, and will be excused on a case-by-case basis.
