Stephanie Edgar is a graduate of Concordia University at St. Paul and has a Master’s degree in Education Literacy from the University of Missouri. A child of LCMS missionaries, it is not surprising that Stephanie Edgar’s first teaching job was in China after doing her student teaching in Shanghai. She returned to the states and has taught middle school since 2010. She currently serves as the 8th grade homeroom teacher at Trinity Lutheran in Billings, Montana, where she teaches language arts and history to the middle school.
Stephanie loves helping her students discover their unique God-given gifts. She is known for her creativity and enthusiasm as well as her ability to build strong writing skills in her students. She is a team player using her strength with technology to develop and implement a five-year technology program for her school. She has filled many roles and especially enjoyed coaching girls’ basketball.
Stephanie’s faith is evident in the way she cares for others and in her willingness to serve. She has a true heart for missions and says, “I believe that the church’s mission is to be a city on a hill for all around it. Our goal must always be to share Christ to the people in our school, community, and the world.”
Stephanie and her husband, Aaron, are the parents 18-month-old Dakota. Her husband served in the military for 12 years and is now a retail manager with GNC. Together they enjoy being outdoors and traveling. She is an extremely talented woman of faith and lives her life trusting in God to guide her steps.
