Students in grades 1-8 will take their second round of MAP testing starting on Monday, January 13th.
MAP testing takes place three times during the year and allows teachers and parents to track growth in reading and math skills. MAP is an adaptive, computer-based test. The program adjusts the difficulty of the questions based on how well students answered the previous questions. As a result, each child takes a unique test that identifies the progress they are making over time. Tests take an average of 40 minutes to complete, and teachers receive results almost immediatly. Parents will receive a report when the winter testing is complete at Grace.
